Characteristics and Applications of Different CNC Cutting Machines
ATC CNC router is an automated equipment that uses CNC to achieve high-precision cutting of sheet metal, widely used in industries such as furniture manufacturing, building decoration, and advertising signage. -Suitable for batch processing of standard size boards with high efficiency.
-Equipped with an automatic tool changing system (8-16 knives), it can complete multiple processes such as cutting, drilling, slotting, etc.
-Purpose:
-Production of panel furniture (wardrobes, cabinets, etc.), processing of wooden doors, office furniture, etc.
-Applicable materials: MDF, particleboard, multi-layer board, acrylic, etc.
Rack driven ATC CNC router
-Processing characteristics:
-Adopting gear rack transmission, suitable for large-scale processing (such as ultra long plates or irregular cutting), with strong stability.
-The speed is slightly lower than that of linear guide rail, but the load-bearing capacity is higher, suitable for heavy-duty materials such as stone and metal composite panels.
-Some models support switching between dual or multiple workstations to improve continuous work efficiency.
-Purpose:
-Architectural decoration (aluminum-plastic panels, fireproof panels), advertising industry (such as suede panels, PVC), and cutting of some metal sheets.
Four process ATC and CNC router
-Processing characteristics:
-Equipped with 4 spindles, it can automatically switch between different cutting tools (such as cutting tools, drilling tools, slotting tools, etc.) without manual intervention.
-High cost-effectiveness, suitable for small and medium-sized furniture factories, balancing efficiency and cost.
-The processing flexibility is strong, but the tool changing speed is slightly lower than that of the magazine type model.
-Purpose:
-Customized furniture (such as wardrobe, cabinet doors, cabinets), wooden crafts.
Automatic Tool Change (ATC) ATC CNC Router
-Processing characteristics:
-Integrated tool library, short tool change time (1-3 seconds), suitable for complex process requirements.
-Supports high-speed cutting and precision carving, capable of processing 3D surfaces or reliefs.
-High degree of automation, suitable for unmanned workshops.
-Purpose:
-High end furniture (European carved door panels), artistic decoration, and processing of complex shaped parts.
Laser ATC CNC router
-Processing characteristics:
-Using laser beam cutting, there is no physical contact, the incision is smooth without burrs, and the accuracy can reach ± 0.1mm.
-Suitable for ultra-thin materials such as leather, fabric, and thin acrylic, but the cutting efficiency for thick plates is relatively low.
-A dust removal system is required to avoid laser smoke pollution.
-Purpose:
-Advertising industry (signs, models), clothing templates, precision components in the electronics industry.
-Processing characteristics:
-The spindle power is high (usually above 7.5kW), equipped with diamond cutting tools, and has strong wear resistance.
-Supports cutting, edge grinding, chamfering and other functions, suitable for high hardness materials such as marble and granite.
-A water cooling system is required for cooling and dust removal.

Metal ATC/CNC router (plasma/fiber optic)
-Processing characteristics:
-Plasma cutting: suitable for medium thick metal plates (such as stainless steel and carbon steel), with fast speed but average accuracy (± 0.5mm).
-Fiber laser cutting: High precision (± 0.02mm), suitable for thin metal plates (such as sheet metal parts, hardware parts).
-Purpose:
-Mechanical equipment casings, metal decorative parts, automotive components, etc.
Vacuum adsorption dual station ATC CNC router
-Processing characteristics:
-Dual workbench alternating operation, where one workstation can process while the other can load and unload materials, achieving continuous production.
-Vacuum adsorption table fixing material to avoid scratching the surface, suitable for laminated boards or soft materials.
-Purpose:
-Large scale standardized production (such as electronic device casings, packaging box templates).
Five axis linkage ATC CNC router
-Processing characteristics:
-5 motion axes, capable of achieving three-dimensional surface machining and complex angle cutting.
-The programming is complex and the equipment cost is high, but the processing range far exceeds that of ordinary three-axis models.
-Purpose:
-Art sculptures, high-end customized furniture (such as curved shapes).

-Furniture industry: Prioritize linear guide rail or ATC CNC router, balancing efficiency and accuracy.
-Advertising industry: laser cutting machine or rack drive type (balancing cost and format).
